our story
It all started with a promise
After some tough event experiences, two Irish dads (that’s us, Kevin Farrell and Shay Casserly) decided their kids deserved the same fun as everyone else. Two dads, one promise: no more missing out.
We started Ablefest, Ireland’s first fully inclusive music and arts festival. Since then, 15,000+ people have attended and the event has moved to Fairyhouse Racecourse. We’re getting bigger names every year – Mundy and DJ Mark McCabe is confirmed for 2026, with more due to be announced.

We’re building a world where everyone is more than welcome.
We run truly inclusive events, but Able Events CLG is also working for wider change. We empower people with additional needs to participate fully in society and to share the spotlight. Our team is inclusive too, and we advise and support other event organisers to adopt truly inclusive practices.
